ITHACA, N.Y. — An Ithaca man was indicted Friday on several felonies linked to crimes that happened back in September.
Benjamin Spradlin, 41, was indicted Friday on felonies for third-degree grand larceny and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
According to court documents, Spradlin stole more than $3,000 worth of property from Sept. 10 – Sept. 13, 2016. He also is accused of knowingly having two forged checks in his possession during that time.
Spradlin is currently in custody at the Tompkins County Jail on $40,000 cash bail or $200,000 bond and scheduled to appear in the Tompkins County Court Tuesday afternoon.
