ITHACA, N.Y. – Are you the next Hunger Hero? Join Collegetown Bagels and United Way of Tompkins County on Thursday, May 25th from 5:30PM – 7 p.m. at the Bernie Milton Pavilion on The Commons to help United Way of Tompkins County support their Hunger and Food Security Initiative.
The winning sandwich from this year’s competition will be added to the menus at CTB and Ithaca Bakery. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to United Way of Tompkins County (UWTC), and all funds will be invested in local food programs. There will be tastings of the top 3 sandwiches, music, and more on The Commons!
Canned goods and monetary donations can grant you access to FREE tastings!
The top three entries from a public submission process that happened last week will be taste tested by local celebrity judges. Finalists will be eligible for prizes.
