On Sunday May 14, 2017 at approximately 12:55 AM, Cornell University Police was flagged down by a third party who reported that an assault had just occurred at the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Campus Road. Cornell University Police investigated and located a college-aged male victim who stated that he was verbally harassed by three unknown college-aged males. The victim further reported that one of the individuals punched him at least once in the face causing facial injuries. The victim was unable to describe the suspects beyond three males, one with brown hair.
Cornell University Police interviewed a witness to the assault who provided further suspect descriptions: The suspect who punched the victim was described as white male, 150-160 pounds, 6-feet-tall, 20-21 years old, skinny build, light brown possibly blonde hair with a short haircut, no facial hair, wearing a light green jacket, possibly a rain jacket, with a white button up shirt.
The second suspect was described as a white male, 180 pounds, 5’8″-5’10”, 20-21 years old, stocky build, dark brown possibly black hair with a buzzcut, faint goatee, wearing a black suit jacket and khaki pants.
There is no description available for a third suspect. The suspects were last seen running north on Stewart Ave toward University Ave.
