NEWFIELD, N.Y. — A Newfield man was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by New York State Police after complaints were made regarding public lewdness.
State Police responded to a call around 2:46 p.m. on Tuesday, reporting an incident of public lewdness near Kellogs Corners Road in the Town of Newfield. Police arrested Jeffery A. June, 50, after an investigation led them to believe that June had repeatedly exposed himself through the front window of his home.
Police say the lewd nature of this exposure has been an ongoing occurrence and served June with an order of protection. June was charged with first-degree public lewdness, and endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned in the Newfield Town Court and will reappear in court on Feb. 21.
