An Ithaca woman has been charged with conspiracy in connection with the death of Camden Rundell.

Melissa J. Minnick, 39, of Ithaca, was arrested Monday and charged with fourth-degree conspiracy, a felony.

Minnick was arraigned Monday in the Town of Newfield Court before Judge William Chernish. She is being held at the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash and $30,000 bond.

After responding to a reported cardiac arrest early Friday morning, emergency responders found 30-year-old Rundell dead at 221 Burdge Hill Rd. in Newfield. Authorities treated the death as “suspicious” from the beginning, and after the results of a medical examination Saturday, the case has been investigated as a homicide.
