ITHACA, N.Y. –Tompkins Girls Hockey Association (TGHA) is excited to host the 18th Annual “Shooting Stars” Tournament this upcoming weekend, Friday December 2nd– Sunday December 4th. Action starts Friday as teams face off starting at 5pm at both Cass Park in downtown Ithaca NY and The Rink in Lansing NY.

A full day of games is scheduled for Saturday December 3rd with championship games to be played on Sunday December 4th. Participating in this year’s Tournament are teams from across NYS, including Skaneateles, Camillus, Hamburg, Canton, Adirondacks and Oswego. Also returning for another fun year of play with teams at both the 14U and 19U age level are the Lady Patriots from Doylestown, PA.

The TGHA/Ithaca Shooting Stars program is fielding teams at the 12-and-under, 14-and-under and 19-and-under age groups. New this year are fundraising items that include TGHA car stickers, cell phone card holders, plus there will be several raffle items to enter to win, as well as the fan favorite ‘Chuck-a-Duck’ toss on the ice at intermission during the games.

All fundraising proceeds benefit TGHA.
