ITHACA, N.Y. — With Thanksgiving just a few days away, shop for local food, beverages and gifts at a holiday market planned Tuesday in Press Bay Alley.

The market, which will take place from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, will feature beginning farmers in the region who are not prominent at other Ithaca-area markets. Shoppers can stock up on local vegetables, meats, baked goods and other items.

Another holiday market will take place Dec. 22 at the same time and place.

The Thanksgiving Holiday Market is being organized by Groundswell Center for Local Food and Farming, the Finger Lakes Meat Project and Press Bay Alley.

Vendors that are confirmed include: Bo’s Bones, Bottomland Farm, Cayuta Sun Farm, Crooked Carrot, Crosswinds Creamery, Groundswell Center & Fingerlakes Meat Project, Heritage Haus, Honey Apple Hill, Iron Owl Kitchen, Little Red Farm Project, Littletree Orchard, Mama Said Hand Pies, Nook & Cranny Farm, Park Hill Poultry, Plowbreak Farm, Shelterbelt Farm, Three Stone Farm, Van Galder Family Farm, Whale Cat Doughnuts, Wide Awake Bakery and Youth Farm Project.

Press Bay Alley is located at 118 W. Green St., Ithaca.
