ITHACA, N.Y. — Santa Claus is rappelling into town on Saturday.

Following Ithaca tradition, Santa will rappel from the roof of Center Ithaca to the Commons at noon. After, kids can take photos with Santa. Don’t forget to bring your own camera.

The festivities will go from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday on the Ithaca Commons. There will be face painting, music, performances and other activities in Center Ithaca.

Live entertainment includes:

  • 11 to 11:30 a.m. – Magic w/ Mike Stanley!
  • 11:30 a.m. (Outside Center Ithaca) – The Next Jenneration Dance Performance
  • 11:45 a.m. – Matan the Juggler
  • 12:30 p.m. – Cayuga Chimes
  • 1:00 p.m. – Violin Ensemble from Ithaca Talent Education School
  • 1:30- Magic w/ Mike Stanley!
