Mind the Gap highlights British soul singers: Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Amy Winehouse, and Adele. Dominating the U.S. and UK charts since the 1960’s, these soul sisters have a catalogue of music filled with timeless soul. Mind the Gap celebrates the legacy, the nostalgia, and the indelible mark they have made in the music world.

Friends of Tompkins County Public Library Book Sale
Held twice a year, the Friends of the Library Book Sale support the Tompkins County Public Library and the Finger Lakes Library System. About 250,000 items are sold during each sale, ranging from children’s books to adult fiction to music and movies. Collector’s Corner is a special area with unique items of interest.

Brown Bear, Brown Bear (and other Treasured Stories)
A Brown Bear, A Caterpillar And A Moon: Treasured Stories By Eric Carle, will bring together old favorites and new friends. Featuring evocative music, stunning visual effects and innovative puppetry, the triple-bill highlights three of Eric Carle’s most beloved tales.

Greater Ithaca Art Trail Open Studio
Take a drive through beautiful fall foliage with artist studios as your destination. You’ll find painters, photographers, printmakers, sculptors, a blacksmith, and fiber artists. You’ll also find artists who work with gourds, wood burning, micrography, and letterpress. Not only do you get to see artwork, but you also see where artists create.

Bring your furry friend to meet other pets and explore resources from pet friendly businesses in the area! The event is free to attend, but SPCA Annex will happily accept donations to keep their furry friends happy and healthy.

With songs by Gilbert and Sullivan, Precious Nonsense is a backstage/onstage tour de force for seven players packed with mistaken identities, romantic entanglements and gender-bending role playing. Fun for the whole family!

Apple Picking, Pumpkin Hunting, and Fresh Cider!
Everyone is invited to the kickoff of high apple season at Indian Creek Farm this weekend! You can pick 10 kinds of apples, drink fresh cider, eat hot donuts, and enjoy all the free attractions: wonderful views and a playground with a swing set, giant sandbox, ping pong and everybody’s favorite Apple Mountain!
