ITHACA, N.Y. — A man facing charges for attacking a woman about two weeks ago is also being accused of stalking and grabbing a 15-year-old girl in the Ithaca Commons this summer, court records show.

Davonne Simeon, 24, is currently in the Tompkins County Jail on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond for allegedly committing a criminal sexual act with a woman and hitting her, among other charges.

Court records also indicate that Simeon is facing other charges in relation to an incident that reportedly happened over the summer.

According to court documents, Simeon followed a 15-year-old girl he did not know through the Ithaca Commons on at least two occasions, trying to engage her in conversation.

“At one point even though the victim was trying to avoid the defendant he grabbed the victim’s arm to get her attention,” the records state.  He is accused of holding her with both hands, “not allowing her to move.”

He was taken into custody at the time and charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree stalking and first-degree harassment.
