ITHACA, N.Y. — A memorial is planned for Monday afternoon for a teenager killed in a Horseheads crash last week.

Luciano M. Servetto, 19, was killed at 12:15 a.m. on Thursday in a one-car crash on Interstate 86. He died at the scene. Two others, driver Jonathan T. Byrd, 27, of Ithaca and passenger Carlton J. Clinton, 32, of Elmira were also injured in the crash.

A memorial for Servetto is happening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the Amphitheater at the Lehman Alternative Community School, located at 111 Chestnut St. He graduated from the school this year.

The family is asking that donations be made in Luciano’s memory to the Learning Web 515 W. Seneca St. learn-web.org, in lieu of flowers.

The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office was unable to provide an update about the crash or condition of others involved in the crash by publication time.
