ITHACA, N.Y. — As the sound of bagpipes filled the air, kilts abounded, and the sky became overcast, Stewart Park resembled a moorland more closely than the shore of Cayuga Lake on Saturday.

The festival was an all day celebration of Celtic music and culture organized in partnership with the History Center of Tompkins County, Zero Impact of Rochester, and the Ithaca Pipes and Drums. A grant from the Tompkins County Tourism Program provided funding for the event.
