ITHACA, NY — As you may have heard, there was recently a devastating earthquake in Amatrice, Italy. When we were asked by the Ithaca College Italian Club to help out, we were more than happy to oblige.

An Italian chef, Carlo Petrini is asking restaurants around the world to serve Amatriciana, a famous pasta of Amatrice, Italy.

Starting now until the end of September, for all Gnocchi Lunghi al Amatriciana sold, $2 will be donated to a relief fund for the recent earthquake in Italy. Gola Osteria’s Amatriciana is peppery with house-cured guanciale made with local pork from The Piggery, San Marzano tomatoes, and hot chilis, finished with a mound of Pecorino Romano cheese.

Please order this authentic dish and help us help Italy!

Also, Gola Osteria will be joining the Walk to End Alzheimer’s this year on Sunday, September 18 at Cass Park. We would love it if you could help Team GOLA in this fun and rewarding charity event by donating or signing up here!
