ITHACA, NY — Never one to rest on their laurels, the Ithaca Farmers Market is stepping into new territory by adding an evening market that includes young entrepreneurs, in addition to your regular favorite vendors.

Planned as a monthly pilot for summer 2016, this Thursday, August 4th, is the second Kids Vending Day/Night Market featuring our local young chefs and artisans.

The diversity of craft and food presented by the youth vendors adds an additional layer of goodness to the Night Market. There will be cookies, jewelry, burnt wood art and tasty tarts. You’ll be amazed by what our core of kids bring to an already bustling market.

What else can you expect at this Thursday’s Night Market? The Ithaca Waldorf School will be offering craft projects for kids, Richie and Rosie will be playing, Hopshire Beer, Treleaven and an array of food vendors will satisfy your hunger & thirst and local artisans will round out the offerings. Stroll on down for the most relaxed Night Market, nestled into the lovely Steamboat Landing Pavilion.

There’s something for everyone on the Waterfront with an added bonus of supporting our young, local craftsmen.
