ITHACA, NY — On 8/7/16 at around 0154 HRS the Ithaca Police Department was dispatched to a report of a large group of people fighting in the 400 block of Eddy Street. Upon police arrival there was no active dispute and a large group of people began dispersing and fleeing the scene. No victims were located at the scene.

While on scene, IPD learned that there was a patient at CMC who had been stabbed. The victim sustained serious stab wounds to the abdomen and had to be flown to a regional trauma center.
