ITHACA, NY – The Arts Committee of Temple Beth El invites you to its third and final screening in a series of entertaining and uplifting films. We will be presenting In Search of Israeli Cuisine on August 18th. Doors open at 6:30 PM for free Israeli style refreshments and socializing. The film begins at 7 PM. Tickets are $8 at the door.

Children ages 10 and above are welcome. The screening will take place in the social hall of the temple, located at the corner of Court and Tioga Streets in Ithaca.

In Search of Israeli Cuisine (USA 2016, 97 minutes) is a documentary portrait of the Israeli people through their varied cuisine. Developed in the last 30 years, from the contributions of over 100 cultures, Israel’s sophisticated and innovative cuisine reflects the country’s advancement on many levels. The TBE Jewish Film Festival is in its second year. This summer, we presented Dough, which was screened on June 23rd, and Raise the Roof on July 21st. The film festival is brought to you through Menemsha Films and the National Center for Jewish Film. For further information call 257-9924.
