On Thursday June 23rd, 2016 at about 4:30 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. members of the Ithaca SWAT team, Ithaca Police Investigative Division and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department performed drug raids at two separate locations in Tompkins County.

The first narcotics warrant was served at 20 Grove School Road in the Town of Caroline, the residence of Timothy K. Daniels and Shavaisa T. White. Upon entry into the location, members of the Ithaca Police SWAT team secured the residence and subjects within.

Members of the Tompkins County Drug Task Force located and secured what appeared to be crack cocaine, cash and scales.

A second narcotics warrant was served at 117 W. Buffalo St in the City of Ithaca. The Ithaca SWAT team located and secured Amanda N. Norton and Kevin L. George within. Also located in the residence was heroin, weighing scales and packaging materials consistent with drug sales.

It should be noted that neither location is believed to be affiliated with the other.

The subjects are charged with the following:

Daniels and White are both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree subdivision 1, a class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree subdivision 12, a class B Felony.

White was ROR (released on own recognizance)  for return to court at a later date.

Daniels was remanded to Tompkins County Jail on a parole warrant.

Norton and George are both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree subdivision 1, a class B Felony and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree, a class C Felony.

Norton was remanded to Tompkins County Jail on $15,000 cash, $30,000 bond for return to court on a later date. George was remanded to Tompkins County Jail on $3000 cash, $6000 bond for return to court on a later date.
