ITHACA, NY – Known for their fresh hummus made with simple ingredients, Ithaca Hummus is excited to announce they will be giving away free Ithaca Hummus Wraps to celebrate the Ithaca community. In addition, they hope to spark conversation about what makes food from Ithaca so special. The event will be the first of three to take place this summer.

The Ithaca Hummus Wraps will be handed out to the public on Friday, June 24, 2016 from 12 p.m.- 2 p.m. on the downtown Ithaca Commons. The wraps are made fresh with quinoa, kale, roasted red peppers, sprouts, and of course, Ithaca Hummus!

Ithaca Hummus takes the responsibility of representing the Ithaca name outside of the community very seriously. Ithaca Hummus credits their success to the support from the local community and believes Ithaca, NY is an integral part of the brand.

Founder Chris Kirby is extremely excited to work with the public to further develop the Ithaca brand, saying, “As we craft our message to the rest of the world, we’re asking for your help! Join us on the Commons on June 24th for a free Ithaca Hummus Wrap and help us answer the question: Why does food made in Ithaca taste so good?”

Ithaca Hummus is known for their fresh hummus made with simple ingredients in their purest form. Offered in three flavors (Lemon & Garlic, Lemon & Dill, and Spicy Chipotle), their hummus is made fresh daily with cold pressed lemon juice and no preservatives. Ithaca Hummus is available at Wegmans, Whole Foods and select independent stores such as GreenStar Co-op and P&C Fresh.
