ITHACA, NY – Pack your picnic baskets and grab your frisbees on Friday, July 1, for the first of Cornell’s free summer concerts on the Arts Quad! Featuring the Zydeco Trail Riders, the concert begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends at sundown.
 
Playing together since 2004, the band is led by accordionist Greg Grodem, who learned to play zydeco-style in southwest Louisiana. Other band members include Jim Reidy on guitar, Ted Oberhaus on bass, Stuart Krasnoff on drums, and Sally Freund on rubboard.

In case of thunderstorms or heavy rain, the concert will take place in Klarman Hall Auditorium.Cornell’s free summer events, which run from June 28 to August 5, include Tuesday performances at Klarman Hall Auditorium, Wednesday lectures at Call Auditorium in Kennedy Hall, and Friday concerts on the Arts Quad.
