ENFIELD, N.Y. — Four people are in custody following an Enfield methamphetamine bust Wednesday, court documents show.
Police executed a warrant at 171 Harvey Hill Road around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Records show that four people at the home were not only in possession of methamphetamine making materials, such as sodium hydroxide, sulfuric acid and an array of bottles and tubes, but were also burning meth making materials in the driveway of the home. In or near a burn barrel at the residence, police reported finding items such as cut battery casings and pseudoephedrine blister packs.
The following people were taken into custody at the scene:
Beverly Stevenson, 56
Third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine
unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material
Released on her own recognizance
Robert A. Farrell, 55
Third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine
unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material
$2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond
Brian P. Schmidt, 42
Third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine
unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material
$2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond
Daniel L. Swansbrough, 34
Third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine
unlawful disposal of methamphetamine laboratory material
$2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond
The defendants were arraigned in the Newfield Town Court and several were scheduled to appear in the Enfield Town Court Monday evening.
