ITHACA, N.Y. — On June 18th 2016 at approximately 01:05 a.m. Officers from the Ithaca Police Department responded to the area of West State Street and Plain Street regarding a reported physical dispute involving several subjects.

Responding Officers were further advised that some of the subjects involved were armed with baseball bats.

When Officers arrived on scene the dispute was no longer in progress but three victims were located in the area. Three male victims had all sustained moderate head trauma consistent with being struck in the head with a hard object.

The suspect(s) had fled the scene prior to Officers arrival but were described as a white male wearing a hat and or a Hispanic male with a pony tail wearing a black tee shirt. All three of the victims were evaluated on scene by Bangs Ambulance.

One male was treated and released and the other two males were subsequently transported to Cayuga Medical Center for further treatment.

Investigation into this incident is ongoing. The Ithaca Police Department is asking anyone with information that would aid this investigation to contact the Ithaca Police Department.
