ITHACA, N.Y. — Hundreds of college students were swarming through Collegetown and the Cornell campus for the annual Slope Day celebration.

In less than an hour, The Ithaca Voice witnessed most people celebrating responsibly, dancing and listening to music on the slope. But there were also a healthy amount of drunk students (I saw a girl being peeled off the grass by EMS officials) and plenty of joints being smoked in the crowd (One college student argued at the gate to keep his, saying, “Am I not in college, or what?”)

Multiple people have seemingly been transported to the hospital. If you can’t make it to Slope Day but want to keep up with the shenanigans, check out the Tompkins County police scanner here. It’s amusing, at the very least.
