The incident happened around 3:35 p.m. near Glenwood Road after a maroon Toyota sedan traveling south crossed over the center lines into the northbound lane and crashed into an 18-wheeler.

The sedan then collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck that was also traveling north.

Police said in a news release that the driver of the sedan was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with injuries that are not life threatening. Other injuries were not reported at the scene.

Officials said the investigation is ongoing and more details will be released at a later time.

Correction 9:10 a.m. — This story originally reported that the 18-wheeler hit the pickup truck when, in fact, the sedan hit the pickup truck.
