CAROLINE, N.Y. — A Dryden man is facing charges after police say he intentionally crashed into another vehicle and tried running from police, officials said.

New York State Police were called to the incident at 3:55 p.m. on Saturday along Speed Hill Road in the town of Caroline.
According to officials Robert H. Predmore, 24, intentionally drove a 1998 Jeep Cherokee into another vehicle that had a person inside it. He then fled the scene and was spotted by a Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputy driving on McClintock Road.
Predmore then tried to flee from officers on foot but was caught and taken into custody.
He’s charged with felony third-degree criminal mischief, two counts of misdemeanor second-degree reckless endangerment and several traffic violations.
Predmore was arraigned in the town of Caroline court and remanded to the Tompkins County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond.
