ITHACA, N.Y. — Police say they found cocaine and marijuana during an Ithaca traffic stop Friday.

Officials said in a news release that Tompkins County Sheriff Deputies stopped a gray Pontiac with no front licence plate at 12:27 a.m. on State Route 13. An investigation into the incident turned up marijuana and cocaine in the vehicle, police said.
Driver John A. Benton, 20, of Ithaca was issued a ticket for no front license plate. Nagee E. Green, 22, of Dryden, was charged with a violation for unlawful possession of marijuana and a misdemeanor for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Both Benton and Green were issued appearance tickets to Ithaca City Court on April 27.
