ITHACA, N.Y. — A warrant was executed on the 500 block of  West Green Street by Ithaca police Tuesday morning, yielding no drugs or arrests, officials said.

The drug warrant was served at a home around 5 a.m. in a collaborative effort by the Ithaca Police Department Investigations Unit, Patrol Division and SWAT Team, the New York State Police CNET and the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Department

Police said that members of the SWAT team found weighing scales, cash, and packaging materials officials say is consistent with the sale of drugs.

Police said that no charges have been filed as of Tuesday afternoon.

A man who lives near the area said police warned residences via an intercom announcements to stay indoors as the search was conducted.
