ITHACA, NY – On Sunday, a public safety alert relating to an incident of “forcible touching” was released by the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety.

According to the report, the incident occurred around 11:50 p.m. near the tennis courts and parking lot S.

The victim said that while she was walking in the parking lot, a male suspect touched her buttocks and groin.

The suspect is described as being a white male in his late teens or early twenties approximately 5′ 10.” At the time of the incident, he was reported to be wearing a red plaid button down shirt and a red hat and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone who may have information pertaining the incident is asked to contact the Ithaca College Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management at 607-274-3333.
