ITHACA, N.Y. — Ithaca’s annual Streets Alive! organizers still looking for about about 40 volunteers for Sunday’s event.

The event is happening from 1 – 5 p.m. throughout residential areas in Ithaca, closing streets for rollerbladers, bikers and the community to get out and play in the street.

For information about volunteering, visit the Streets Alive! website here.

The following announcement was released about the event:

Announcing Streets Alive! Ithaca #8, happening Sunday, May 1st from 1-5pm on Cayuga Street from Lake to Court Street, and down Court Street to GIAC in the Fall Creek neighborhood of Ithaca.
