Joseph A. Price, 22, pleaded guilty to felony third-degree rape and a misdemeanor for endangering the welfare of a child. He was sentenced on Friday.
According to court records, he raped a girl less than 17-years-old between June 30, 2015 and Dec. 30, 2015.
He was sentenced as a predicate felon — having been convicted of attempted third-degree burglary in 2012 — by Judge J0hn Rowley. Price will serve three years in prison with seven years of post-release supervision. An order of protection was also issued against him for a period of eight years.
Without the plea, he could have faced a maximum of four years in prison and 15 years of post-release supervision.
