The incident allegedly happened over the summer on Cleveland Avenue. Belinda Ann McCoy, 41, was taken into custody Wednesday and charged with felony third-degree criminal mischief for reportedly smashing in the back window of the accuser’s vehicle.

According to court documents, the accuser was drinking at a get together at the home and got into a scuffle with another woman. The woman left the party and returned later with more than 15 other people, including McCoy.

The accuser said the group of people attacked her on the porch of the house using sticks, bats and chains, eventually breaking a window at the home. When a neighbor opened the door of a nearby home, the group scattered.

Before completely fleeing the scene, the woman who’d been beaten said she saw McCoy and McCoy’s daughter smash in the windows and slit the tires of her vehicle, the records state.

McCoy is due in court April 22 for arraignment.
