ITHACA, NY – The joint employees associations of the Ithaca City School District will be hosting a public information session for anyone interested in learning more about running for the ICSD School Board. The information session will take place on Thursday, February 4th, starting at 6:30 and lasting for approximately an hour.

The meeting will take place at the Association building at 1375 North Cayuga Street (the yellow building behind Kulp auditorium on the Ithaca High School Campus). Refreshments will be served.

Topics for discussion will include eligibility requirements, responsibilities of board members, background information about current issues the ICSD is facing, and detailed information about the campaign and electoral process.

The goal of the meeting is to provide information for ANY community member who is interested in learning more about the process, regardless of background or affiliation.
