The statement describes interim suspension as “a pause in the operations of a chapter during which the chapter may not engage in any activities other than operation of its residence.” Such suspensions are used when

Psi Upsilon was similarly placed on interim suspension almost exactly a year ago in relation to an incident involving “alleged use of alcohol and an illicit substance.” The fraternity was soon after cleared and resumed activities when the University found that the claims “were not accurate.”
