Get an up close view of some of the incredible creatures who call the Finger Lakes region home at the new New York Natives animal gallery. Located in the Saltonstall Animal Room, this gallery features fish found in Cayuga Lake, Spotted Salamanders, Eastern Newts, and more.

Southworth Library is going wild! Come welcome the Ross Park ZooMobile for a Rosen Family Storytime. Visit with some wild critters and enjoy stories and activities.

The Ithaca Community Chorus and Chamber Singers, under the direction of Gerald Wolfe, will give a performance of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Vespers. The Vespers is seen as the greatest musical achievement of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Grunge-soaked power pop, The Sun Parade’s latest EP Heart’s Out (2014) is a catalog of love collisions, casual sandwich obsession, load-bearing grooves, and Northern psychedelic guitar licks.

Out of the Blue
For the first time ever, the new improvisational ensemble Out Of The Blue will perform with a purpose in Ithaca. Come and warm your hearts in the middle of the Ithaca winter. Comprised of five local artists who enjoy creating spontaneously, this debut performance will bring to the stage what’s on your minds and in your hearts.

Fade to Winter
Featuring jaw-dropping action from Alaska, Iceland, British Columbia, Japan, Colorado, Italy, and New England, this film captures the spirit of nine skiers who go to great lengths for the sport that they love. Regardless of weather, conditions, or the effort required to get there, “a bad day of skiing still beats a good day at work.”

What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a racquet sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. This recreational sport is growing in popularity with all ages! All skill levels welcome!

Winter Village Bluegrass Festival
Now in its 6th year, the Winter Village Bluegrass Festival continues to bring the best acts in bluegrass music to Ithaca and the Finger Lakes. This year the focus is on young, progressive bluegrass bands – Front Country, the Lonely Heartstring Band, and the Molly Tuttle Band.

Ithaca Underground Fundraiser 2016
Ithaca Underground kicks off its 2016 fundraising efforts on to support a full year of event programming with an evening of performances, showcasing innovative local rock, ska, funk, and circus. Featured performances by Anna Coogan, Scopes Monkey Trial, Circus Culture, Mary and Billy from Madder Rose, & Viva Mayhem.

14th Annual Mardi Gras
Travel winery to winery along the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail to sample their Mardi Gras-inspired dish and sip their fine wines. You’ll also take home a recipe card featuring that dish, beads and a chance to win a prize at each winery!
