Christy M. Tucker was indicted Thursday and charged with two counts of first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

According to court documents, on Aug. 23, 2015, Tucker used a bottle of Patrón tequila to beat someone “with intent to disfigure another seriously and permanently.” The attack left the other person with serious injuries, the indictment says.

The tequila bottle, in this case, is being considered a “dangerous or deadly instrument or weapon.”

Her lawyer is listed as James Baker and the case is being prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Eliza Filipowski.

A Tompkins County Jail official said Thursday afternoon that Tucker is not in custody at the facility.
