ITHACA, NY – “Out of the Blue”, Ithaca’s newest improvisational performance ensemble, debuts on January 21st at 7:00 at the Lehman Alternative School Black Box Theatre, 111 Chestnut St, Ithaca. Focusing on “performance with a purpose”, Out of the Blue ensemble members (Alice Saltonstall, Jaydn McCune, Scott Dawson, Stan Stewart and Valerie Anne) bring to life the thoughts and musings of the community through storytelling, music, theater, movement and song.

The theme for this entirely improvised performance will be “Light” and will be inspired in the moment by words and phrases from the audience members! Don’t miss this chance to help create art in our community!

Tickets are available on a sliding scale from $5-$20 and are available at the door or at brown paper tickets http://ootbimprov.brownpapertickets.com/. This debut is made possible in part through an SOS grant through the Community Arts Partnership.
