ITHACA, NY – Southside Community Center is inviting everyting to join them for  Southside’s Annual Kwanzaa Celebration on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00pm.

Community leaders Kenneth Glover and Leslyn McBean-Clairborne will serve as masters of ceremonies. This important cultural celebration will include a candle-lighting ceremony, observance of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, a keynote address by Dr. Nia Nunn-Makepeace, musical performances by Jhakeem Haltom and Kristina Camille, a children’s arts and crafts village, and will conclude with a community dinner.

Bring your families out and come celebrate culture, family, and community at the Southside Community Center! This event is free and open to all.
