One of his alleged victims was 6-years old and the other, records say, may have been as young as 3 to 4-years-old.
The records state that from May 2, 2004 to May 2, 2007, he abused a young girl. The other child was allegedly abused from Jan. 20, 1999 to Jan. 20 2001.
Benites allegedly orally confessed to the sexual acts against the 6-year-old on June 30, according to court records.
The documents state that Benites was taken into custody on July 10 by Ithaca police officers.
His bail was initially set at $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond. An official at the Tompkins County Jail said Thursday evening that he is no longer in their custody.
