ithaKid Film Festival: Minions
Minions are small, yellow creatures who exist only to serve history’s most villainous masters. However they are currently without a master, and with their lack of serving have become depressed. Three Minions set out on a quest to find a new master and fight to save all the Minions.

On the Corner
On the Corner follows Julian, an African-American teenager, and the white police officer who detains him, as they travel from the Wall Street slave market of 1690, to a Bronx high school in 1978. When they disagree about the meaning of this history, their journey leads them to the heart of our divided America, and the possibility of a new future.

Celebrate Native American Culture
Local Native American artists and storytellers Crispin Delgado and Emillo “Paqcha” Benites will share stories, music and crafts in the tradition of the Mexican people and Quechua culture. Each participant will have the opportunity to make their own clay bird whistle.

Planet Spaceball, led by the incompetent President Skroob, has wasted all of its air. Skroob schemes to steal air from the planet Druidia by kidnapping Princess Vespa on the day of her pre-arranged wedding to the Prince Valium. Before they can arrive, Vespa herself abandons her marriage and flees the planet in her personal Mercedes spaceship along with her Droid of Honor, Dot Matrix.

Black Friday with The Gunpoets
The Gunpoets seamlessly fuse hip hop with pop, rock, soul and funk to bring the world their own unique flavor. They have all the ingredients. Their recipe? Music with a message that inspires and uplifts the heart and soul.

By shopping or dining locally for the holidays, consumers can show their support for local businesses and our community. Downtown Ithaca has over 100 independent, locally owned stores and businesses to choose from. So show your support and kick start the holiday season.

An Evening to Remember
Triphammer Wines & Spirits will host the 9th annual “An Evening to Remember” gala to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Central New York. The event will once again offer guests extensive food and wine tastings from local restaurants and wineries, as well as a beer garden with a variety of craft beers. There will also be both a silent auction and live music by local talent.

Ithaca Ice Festival
The festival includes ice sculptures and fire dancers (Thursday evening), the National Ice Carving Competition (Friday & Saturday), the 6th Annual Downtown Ithaca Chowder Cook-off (Saturday only), and wine, beer and hot cocoa served from the one and only Ice Bar (all three days).

21st Annual Holiday Shopping Spree
Experience the holidays with all the hustle and bustle at the 21st Annual Holiday Shopping Spree. You will receive a wine glass, a grapevine wreath, and an ornament from each winery.
