Ithaca, N.Y., November 6, 2015 Ithaca High School closes at 12:10pm today due to a power outrage. District staff is working with NYSEG to determine the cause of the outage. Students’ transportation from the high school will occur in the regular manner – however, at the earlier time.  After-school and weekend activities scheduled on the Ithaca High School campus are cancelled – with the exception of the SAT exams scheduled for tomorrow, which have been relocated to Boynton Middle School. Other schools in the district are operating as normal.

“All of the students and staff are safe,” said Jason Trumble, IHS Principal. “We know we won’t have power throughout the day, and this is the reason we are closing early.”
