ITHACA, N.Y. — Two people were hospitalized after a Friday evening crash in the village of Dryden, an official said.
The two-vehicle accident happened around 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of East Main Street/Route 392 and Wellsley Drive, a 911 dispatcher said.
One person was transported in an ambulance to a hospital in Syracuse and another person was taken to a hospital in Cortland.
The road was closed for about two hours.
Dryden police are investigating the crash and were assisted at the scene by the Dryden Volunteer Fire Department, Bangs Ambulance, Dryden Ambulance, New York State Police, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, and TC3 Campus Police.
Those involved in the accident have not been publicly identified as of Friday night.
