ITHACA, N.Y. — Don’t be fooled by the sun making an appearance Tuesday afternoon, rain is expected in Ithaca all week and will likely start again in the late afternoon.

The Weather Channel is reporting that this afternoon there will be a 40 percent chance for rain that will last until the early evening.

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 40s this evening and just peak into the lower 50s Wednesday morning.

There will be a 20 to 30 percent chance for showers until Thursday, according to the National Weather Service,

On Thursday evening, there’s a 60 percent chance of rain that will last throughout Friday before tapering off on Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to be about normal throughout the week with highs in the 50s and lows in the upper 30s, Accuweather reports. 

Reports are stating that some measurable snowfall is possible at higher elevations in the Central New York area this weekend, but none is expected in Ithaca.
