DRYDEN, .N.Y. — One person was airlifted to a regional hospital after a crash happened on Route 79 in the town of Dryden Tuesday, an official said.

The motorcycle accident was reported at 3:41 p.m. on the 1900 block of Route 79, a 911 dispatcher said.

Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies, Brooktondale Fire Department, and Slaterville fire department and ambulance responded to the scene.

One person was airlifted to a hospital in a LifeNet helicopter. The dispatcher said no other people were transported to the hospital.

The identity of the driver and his condition has not been released.

Th Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office did not return a request for comment.
