ITHACA, N.Y. — Police said a McLean man is accused of punching a 15-year-old girl in the face during a dispute in the town of Dryden Sunday.

Joseph M. Bartos, 31, was taken into custody around 6:30 p.m. after Tompkins County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Pond Drive for a reported dispute.

Police said Bartos allegedly pushed a female adult to the floor and punched a 15-year-old girl in the face during the incident.

He’s charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Bartos has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear at 5 p.m. Sept. 28 in the town of Dryden Court.
