CAROLINE, N.Y. — A Brooktondale man was taken into custody Saturday after police say he stole firearms from homes earlier this year.

Jeffrey E. Cornell, 31, was charged with two counts of felony second-degree burglary in connection with two burglaries that happened at two homes in the town of Caroline, according to a news release by New York State Police.
He was arraigned in the town of Dryden court and remanded to the Tompkins County Jail in lieu of posting $3,500 cash bail or $7,000 bond. Cornell is schedule to appear in the Town of Dryden Court Sept. 23.
