Update — At least two other vehicles appeared to be involved in the crash and were towed from the scene.

DRYDEN, N.Y. — An overturned dump truck is causing traffic delays in Dryden Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened shortly after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Dryden Road and Johnson Road/Yellow Barn Road.

Traffic is backed up nearly a mile on Dryden Road.

Officials from the Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, Dryden firefighters and Dryden Ambulance are at the scene.

It’s unknown if there are any injuries.
