ITHACA, N.Y. — A man is facing several charges after stealing more than $4,500 worth of merchandise from Walmart, court records show.

Anthony Delano, 56, is charged with felonies for two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and misdemeanors for three counts of petit larceny.

Court records show that Delano stole the merchandise from a Walmart at 153 Fairgrounds Memorial Parkway on five separate occasions from October 2014 to January 2015.

The first incident happene d on Oct. 30 when Delano stole a flatscreen television — worth $498 — from the display area of the electronics department and left the store through the Garden Center without paying for it.

He stole from the store again on Dec. 24, putting speakers, a television, apparel and toys — worth $1,127 — into a cart and walking out of the store.

In January, he allegedly stole from the store three times taking a Minnie Mouse table, televisions and other electronics from the store totaling $2,995.70.

All the incidents were caught on security footage, the records show.

Delano was taken into custody Thursday morning, according to the Ithaca Police Department crime blotter.
