DANBY, N.Y. — The Tompkins County Animal Control is warning Danby residents of two dogs that have been attacking livestock in the area.

A Great Dane and Pitbull have been traveling together near Dawes Hill Road causing “serious damage to livestock in the area.”

Officials are asking residents to keep any livestock and domestic animals contained to prevent possible injuries by the dogs.

Anyone with information on the dogs’ whereabouts are urged to contact Tompkins County Animal Control at 607-592-6773.
