DRYDEN, N.Y. — Police said a 95-year-old woman was ticketed after a Friday afternoon crash in the town of Dryden.

The Dryden Volunteer Fire Department and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called at 2:09 p.m. to the intersection of State Route 13 and Lower Creek Road after two vehicles crashed into each other.
Police said Charlene A. Miller, 95, of Ithaca, was traveling northbound on Lower Creek Road when she failed to yield at the intersection and struck a vehicle traveling westbound on State Route 13
Christopher J. Klee, 53, of Elmira, was taken to Cayuga Medical Center in a Bangs Ambulance with injures that are not life threatening. Miller was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, also with injuries that are not life threatening. Both people have been released from the hospitals.
Miller was charged with failure to yield the right of way. She is scheduled to appear in the town of Dryden Court at 5 p.m. Oct. 26.
