Update: One man was ticketed after a Monday afternoon cash in Dryden, police said.
Joshua Ruff, 33, was driving his 2008 4-door Honda south on Route 38 when he mistakenly rammed into 51-year-old Michelle Hallock’s 2003 4-door Toyota, said Sgt. Mike Soroka, of New York State Police.
He said police were called to the scene a 3:56 p.m. near the intersection of Dryden Harford and Dug Road. No injuries were reported at the scene.
Soroka said Ruff was ticketed for following too closely.

New York State Police officers were called at 3:58 p.m. to the intersection of Dryden Harford and Dug Road, a Tompkins County 911 dispatcher said.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident.
Dryden Ambulance and the Dryden Fire Department are also responding to the scene.
