It’s expected to be as hot at 92 degrees in the late afternoon or early evening, despite some calm southwest winds, the National Weather Service reports.

Temperatures will start climbing as soon as the sun rises, reaching the upper 80s by noon and 90 degrees by 3 p.m., The Weather Channel reports.

It will be cooler and in the upper 70s by 9 p.m.

Despite the sweat-inducing heat and sunshine, the weather will be around normal for this time of year Thursday with highs in the mid-80s and a 60 percent chance of rain, likely before 2 p.m., the weather service states.

The chance for rain will decrease to 30 percent in the evening as temperatures reach the lower 60s.
